The Federal Reserve System is the central banking system of the United States of America. It disposes the main competences to ensure a steady economy by stabilizing the currency exchange and securing the U.S. bonds. While having great impact on the U.S. system, the Fed has the continuing ability to influence the financial market worldwide. Its decisions may stabilize or destabilize the world economy.
we’re glad to welcome to you to our simulation of the Federal Reserve Financial Crisis. We’re expecting some exciting sessions with you and hope to provide you with an experience that is both challenging and entertaining for everyone of you (and us).
In the coming days, we will throw ourselves back in history to relive the worst financial collapse in modern history and reveal its background. However, do not expect every event to play out according to history’s textbook. Both you and we as your chairs have the opportunity to react to and solve the issues differently. And we explicitly encourage you to do so. Thus history shouldn’t be the limit.
As for ourselves we’re a Master student of political science at the Philipps-University Marburg and a recently graduated freelance journalist from Hamburg. We hope to provide you a thrilling committee in which at least some of the politico-economic complexity of the world’s monetary market will be illustrated. We take the Federal Reserve System for an elementary component of the world’s economic dynamics and hope to work out some promising ideas worth you to solve the crisis.
We’re looking forward to meet you all and to have some awesome sessions together.
