Yike Guo - ECOSOC

My name is Yike Guo, I am 20 years old and studying Law in the first year at the University of Heidelberg.

Having lived in several cities in China, Germany and Austria, I graduated in 2011 from high school in a town near Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The federal state of Hessen, in which Marburg is also located, constituted a major part of my youth; and I share some of my best memories with magnificent people I met at Model United Nations conferences. Both combined, it is my distinct honor to join the LahnMUN 2012 and being a chairperson who, for the very first time in LahnMUN´s eleven year´s history, is not a student from the distinguished University of Marburg.

I took part in MUNBW (Stuttgart), SPUN (Bonn), BIMUN (Bonn), MainMUN (Frankfurt am Main) and WorldMUN (Vancouver) as delegate. In addition, my chairing experience includes MUN International Tours (Tours), MUIMUN (Münster), BRIMUN (Bremen), elbMUN (Dresden) and MILMUN (Milan).

To sum up, I am very much looking forward to meeting you in few weeks..
