Zuher Jazmati - Economic and Social Council

Dear delegates of the LahnMUN 2011,
my name is Zuher Jazmati, I am 21 years old and an "Oriental Studies" student at the Philipps University Marburg.
I will be chair of the ECOSOC committee at this years' LahnMUN. Due to my interests for social and economic developments and situations in the world I am part of the preparation team for this committee. Telling something about my MUN experiences, I took part in several MUNs in Berlin, in Nuoro (Italy), Gorzow Wlkp. (Poland), Minsk (Belarus), Munich and Frankfurt, New York, Hamburg and Maastricht (Netherlands).
It will be the second time for me to to chair a committee in the LahnMUN, as I also was a delegate. I am looking forward to organizing the three days in the ECOSOC as good as possible in order to have fruitful and interesting debates.
